LOS ANGELES –This year marks the fourth SBA Los Angeles District Office Faith-Based Small Business Summit. The Summit supports President Obama’s initiative to strengthen faith-based and community organizations and expand their capacity to provide federally funded social services.

The summit is ideal for aspiring entrepreneurs, individuals already in business and faith-based institutions interested in starting or growing a small business. Attendees will have an opportunity to gain valuable business insight and network with other faith-based businesses and community members. The event will also provide a forum for faith-based organizations to meet with Emergency Preparedness and Local Community Resource representatives that can assist entrepreneurs in their congregation.

As a part of this informative faith-based event, representatives from the interfaith community, in conjunction with marketplace leaders, will be on hand to support entrepreneurship, economic growth and promote prosperity throughout our region.
