AICC Madagascar branch and the Madagascar Youth for Development Association held a joint meeting.

September 30, 2017, the AICC, American International Chamber of Commerce Madagascar branch and the Madagascar Youth for Development Association held a joint meeting.

“Malagasy Youth for Development Y4D” is an association which regroup malagasy young people in Madagascar island. The association has its representant in 22 regions of Madagascar and has thousands of members.


According to Y4D member boards in national and regional levels, they have decided to have partnership with the American International Chambre of Commerce branch of Madagascar. They have asked Mr José RAMAHERISON to be the Honor President of the Malagasy youth for Development association.

The AICC Madagascar is helping Malagasy youth. The development comes from youth, So the reason why AICC Madagascar gave an office, a meeting room and materials and furnitures to Malagasy Y4D association.

The Belt And Road Cooperation Committee of the American International Chamber was established

The Belt and Road Cooperation Committee (BRCC) of the American International Chamber of Commerce (AICC) was officially established on April 20, 2017 in the United States.

Belt And Road cooperation committee (BRCC) headquarters of the American International Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, the United States, is a cooperative institutions, enterprises and individuals volunteered for the entrepreneurs, experts and scholars, promote all the way to promote area initiative, enhance the area along the construction investment strategy cooperation platform, the future will be all the way along the country set up branches in the region.

The Chairman of the American International Chamber of Commerce Holmes Stoner, signed the document approving the establishment of the Belt And Road cooperation committee.

Chairman Stoner said that international free trade is an important driving force for global economic development, the One Belt And One Road strategy is of great significance to the world, and the friendly relationship between the United States and China is beneficial to both sides and the rest of the world. Promoting One Belt And One Road is a path of win-win cooperation for common development and common prosperity. It is also a path of peace and friendship to enhance mutual understanding and trust between the us and China and enhance all-round exchanges.

Chairman Stoner believes that One Belt And One Road brings new development opportunities for American businesses. It is estimated that the global GDP of One Belt And One Road countries and regions will increase by 80% by 2050, which will put 3 billion of them into the middle class. Multinational companies in the United States to participate in the emerging markets in the sme, and the Pacific coast, the association of south-east Asian nations (asean), the Middle East, central and eastern Europe and other countries to expand business opportunities, can expand the product and service trade exports, One Belt And One Road along the increase in the number of investment and trade activities in emerging economies, is bound to accelerate the global development of society as a whole, pull the U.S. economy, make each participating countries benefit.

American International Chamber of Commerce Executive Chairman Jason Quin praised the establishment of the Belt And Road cooperation committee. Belt And Road cooperation committee business scope:

The American International Chamber of Commerce (AICC) is a non-profit international business organization comprised of entrepreneurs, executives and leaders from across the globe whom are engaged in trade and industry within the International chamber of commerce region of the world. AICC mission is to promote the development of trade and investment opportunities between the United States and all the countries. Our Asia Pacific Committee is focus in China, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Australia and other Asia Pacific countries.The AICC has more the corporate and individual members, and represents international companies doing business in the United States. Our current membership includes small, mid-sized and large manufacturing companies, service providers, nonprofit organizations and individuals. The development and activities of AICC are guided by its Board of Directors. Permanent committees are charged with the responsibility of planning programs, developing membership and new services, consequently providing for the continued growth of our organization and the improvement of its operations.

AICC joined the United Nations Global Compact network. The Global Compact network includes a number of important business associations representing leading companies from around the world. These associations are well known for their thought-leadership and private-sector expertise on critical issues related to sustainable development and corporate citizenship.

Objectives

  • To promote the development of trade, commerce, and investment between the United States and International.
  • To provide a forum in which international businesses in the United States can identify and discuss common interests regarding their commercial interests in the United States.
  • To work with organizations in the American on matters of mutual interest.
  • To maintain relations with the Chamber of Commerce of the United States and other Chambers of Commerce or commercial organizations elsewhere.
  • To do all other lawful things as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing objectives.
  • Focuses on government-to-government outreach with corporate and academic support to expand trade and investment through provinces and municipalities of China . The investment by Chinese companies in the American will be facilitated by the AICC.
  • Seeks to increase understanding throughout the China’s markets and resources, to showcase as America ‘s most dynamic region, and to develop knowledge in China of investment opportunities in the United States and the export potential of America ‘s companies.

Activities

Membership Meetings – AICC invites all of our members, and interested guests, to attend membership event. The guest speakers will give an informational presentation on current topics of interest to the foreign business community in the United States.

Seminar & Luncheon Programs – AICC hosts day-long, half-day and luncheon presentations on a regular basis, featuring in depth coverage of current, relevant topics. These gatherings also offer members an opportunity to meet and talk with decision-makers in an open and informal atmosphere. The seminar programs are aimed at enhancing business and interpersonal skills for professionals at all levels.

Committee Meetings – Committees play an important role in the creative aspect of the Chamber, as committees identify relevant industry specific topics and design forums for further discussion and education.

Community Involvement – AICC is committed to making the community in which we all live and work, a better one. The Chamber supports charity events each year and encourages member companies to become involved in Chamber related and other community projects.

Stavros Nikolakopoulos et Jason Quin deux hauts dirigeants l’American International Chambre of Commerce (AICC) sont actuellement à Madagascar.

Lasignature de l’accord AICC a eu lieu hier au Paon d’Or Ivato.

Créée en 2012, la branche malgache de l’AICC commence enfin à bouger. Et de la plus belle manière puisque cette organisation commerciale internationale concocte actuellement la mise en place de grands projets à vocation économique et sociale. Le mémorandum d’entente signé, hier entre Jason Quin Chief Executive Officer et Président du Comité Asie Pacifique d’une part et Ramaherison José Président de l’AICC Madagascar d’autre part servira de base à la réalisation de ces projets qui apporteront incontestablement un développement rapide pour le pays.

Deux tours. Ce qui marquera certainement ces projets, c’est la construction de deux gratte-ciel du côté des 67 Ha Sud.« Ce seront deux tours de plusieurs étages » a précisé José Ramaherison Alias Mr Gao en notant que le projet est pour le moment à l’étude. Deux tours qui abriteront évidemment les nombreuses entreprises qui naîtront des partenariats entre les opérateurs économiques chinois américains et malgaches, membres de l’AICC Madagascar. « L’AICC est ouverte à tous les opérateurs économiques » devait d’ailleurs préciser le Président de l’AICC Madagascar. L’AICC envisage, par ailleurs la mise en place de zones de libre échange aux alentours des ports stratégiques de Madagascar. Une nouvelle forme de projets de développement en somme et qui permettra une diversification des secteurs d’activités génératrices de revenus.

Agriculture. Comme Madagascar est avant tout un pays à vocation agricole, l’AICC misera sur l’agriculture, à travers un projet de transfert de savoir-faire et d’équipements pour augmenter le rendement agricole et la capacité de production. L’élevage sera également le pôle de concentration des actions de l’AICC avec notamment la création de fermes de vaches laitières destinées à l’exportation. Dans le domaine financier, un projet de mise en place de l’UnionPay à Madagascar est prévu. L’UnionPay qui regroupe 175 banques ou institutions financières chinoises est un système de paiement international regroupant plusieurs pays. D’ailleurs, les cartes UnionPay sont acceptées dans 141 pays et régions internationales. Par ailleurs, des bureaux officiels du Comité national chargé de la coopération et des investissements chinois à Madagascar. Ces bureaux seront installés également à Los Angeles et à Chengdu. Ces deux villes américaine et chinoise abriteront également chacune, un consulat de Madagascar.

Logements sociaux. Mais le volet social ne sera pas en reste, puisque AICC interviendra également dans l’éducation avec la création d’une école américaine qui aura pour objectif de promouvoir des échanges universitaires avec les Etats Unis et la Chine et l’octroi de bourses universitaires vers ces deux pays. Des projets de logements sociaux sont également prévus par le biais de l’utilisation de matériels recyclables et la technologie du préfabriqué. En tout cas, le domaine des infrastructures sera un autre domaine de concentration des activités de l’AICC. « On peut bien copier la ville chinoise de Shenzen qui a réussi rapidement son développement », selon toujours le Président de l’AICC Madagascar, Ramaherison José. Bref, l’ambition de l’AICC est de faire de Madagascar, un pays émergent.

Expériences. Et l’AICC dispose justement des expériences en la matière dans la mesure où elle a dans son rang des entrepreneurs, des cadres et des dirigeants du monde entier engagés dans le commerce et l’industrie. L’AICC possède des bureaux en Amérique, en Asie, en Europe et en Afrique. Sa mission est également de promouvoir le commerce et les investissements entre les Etats-Unis et le reste du monde, notamment en Asie Pacifique et en Amérique. Et Madagascar sera le prochain pays où l’AICC entend intervenir pour le développement.
